FAQS
Q. What is the minimum order?

A. we have a minimum order of 24 for tiny cupcakes and 12 for large cupcakes.

Q. Do you have any cupcakes safe for people with nut allergies?

A. We're sorry! Our kitchen is small and we do use nuts in a few of our topping. Though most of our cupcakes do not contain nuts, we cannot guarantee that anything would be free from nuts.

Q. How far advance do I need to order?

A. A minimum of 72hours would be ideal. For orders over 100, a little more time would be good. For wedding orders it is advisable to give us as much notice as possible. We will always try to accommodate urgent requests.

Q. How long do cakes keep?

A. They taste best on day you receive them, but they will keep for 2 more days if kept in an air tight container. (Please keep in mind that the fridge will dry the sponge out.)

Q. Would you be able to setup at a venue?

A. Of course, but charges will apply depending on how far the venue is from our kitchen, however please note most places will set up the cakes for free.

Q. Do you require a deposit for large orders?

A. We require a deposit of 25% when placing the order and a further 25% 6 weeks before the event and the final payment 7 days before you receive your cakes.

Q. When do I need to return the cupcake stand?

A. It is your responsibility to send the undamaged cupcake stand back to us in Rochester within 3 working days of the event otherwise your deposit will be lost. We can collect the stand from the venue for a small fee - this will depend on how far the venue is.

Testimonials

"These actually taste better than The Hummingbird Bakerys offerings. Lighter sponge and creamier topping. Really good ."
